Payment of services, telephone, electricity, water, internet.
Many people have been asking how to pay these bills when offices or places they normally used to pay these invoices are closed. Here are some suggestions:-
- If you, or a Dominican partner, have a local bank account, download the mobile or Bank-on-Line App. It seems all banks now have connections to the service providers enabling online payment from your, or any other person’s bank account. You do need to add the service first by selecting the service provider and the telephone number or account number you want to pay. By then entering the bank account from which the payment will be made followed by the telephone or account number the invoice amount due will be displayed and you can authorize payment.
- If you do not have an account check with a local pharmacy or supermarket if you can pay via their connection to the service provider. Many pharmacies have offered this service for a long time and continue to do so. Some supermarkets also offer a payment facility, not at a till but from their customer service counter.
- Many, if not all banks, can also accept payment at their branch office EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT!
