This month, 20 ships will dock at Amber Cove, while 18 will arrive at Taino Bay, bringing thousands of eager travelers to experience everything the north coast has to offer. The Ministry of Tourism, led by Minister David Collado, announced this record-setting cruise schedule as part of its transparent tourism development strategy and ongoing efforts to boost economic growth through sustainable travel.

Visitors can expect to see major cruise lines like Carnival, Norwegian, MSC, Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises, and Virgin Voyages making regular stops. Featured ships include the MSC World America, Carnival Mardi Gras, Norwegian Aqua, and the iconic Oasis of the Seas. To enhance the experience, the Ministry has launched the “Exploring Puerto Plata” campaign, spotlighting the city’s cultural richness, local gastronomy, and historic sites.
