Puerto Plata fue elegida para esta inauguraci\u00f3n por ser reconocida como la cuna de <strong>Turismo en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La asociaci\u00f3n es una organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro cuyo objetivo es promover la investigaci\u00f3n, la capacitaci\u00f3n y la divulgaci\u00f3n \u00e9tica en torno al desarrollo tur\u00edstico nacional e internacional. Tendr\u00e1 filiales en importantes centros tur\u00edsticos y urbanos del pa\u00eds, como Puerto Plata, Sos\u00faa-Cabarete, Santiago, Saman\u00e1, La Romana y Santo Domingo, as\u00ed como en las ciudades estadounidenses de Miami y Nueva York, donde reside una importante comunidad dominicana vinculada al sector.<\/p>\n<p>Si bien celebramos la formaci\u00f3n de esta asociaci\u00f3n, realmente no podemos creer el acr\u00f3nimo elegido.<strong> ASORETURD<\/strong>\u00a1De verdad! Cualquiera que entienda un poco de jerga sabe que \u201c<strong>zurullo<\/strong>&quot; es un trozo de excremento. Si a eso le sumamos las dos primeras letras AS, tenemos una conexi\u00f3n que r\u00e1pidamente forma un AS-PRE-TURD. O se podr\u00eda disculpar a alguien por pensar que se trata de una organizaci\u00f3n dise\u00f1ada para producir &quot;piezas de desechos s\u00f3lidos&quot;. No es la denominaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s apropiada para una organizaci\u00f3n creada para promover el turismo en <strong>Puerto Plata<\/strong> y la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana en su conjunto.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a1Ojal\u00e1 alguien con algo de visi\u00f3n reconozca la desafortunada elecci\u00f3n de este acr\u00f3nimo y lo cambie antes de que quede indeleblemente grabado en la mente de la gente!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week (20th &#8211; 26th July 2025) saw the launch of the Association of Tourist Press of the Dominican Republic.
